A name badge will be provided with your registration documents on site (and not mailed out prior to the congress).
CME CREDITS
The 12th International Symposium on Viral Hepatitis and Liver Disease is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.net.
The 12th International Symposium on Viral Hepatitis and Liver Disease is designated for a maximum of 24 hours of European external CME credits. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credits that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
EACCME credits are recognized by the American Medical Association towards the Physician’s Recognition Award (PRA). To convert EACCME credits to AMA PRA category 1 credit, contact the AMA.
LUNCHES & BREAKS
Lunches are NOT included in the registration fees but sandwiches and snacks can be purchased at the Congress Centre at all times. A list of restaurants and coffee-shops in and around the Palais des Congrès will be available in the final program. During the breaks, coffee and tea will be available in the exhibition areas.
INSURANCE & LIABILITY
The Organizers will accept no liability for personal injuries sustained by or for loss or damage to property belonging to Congress participants, either during or as a result of the Congress or during all tours and events.
Participants are strongly recommended to seek insurance coverage for health and accident, lost luggage and trip cancellation.
ABSTRACTS
All presentations must be made in English and the latest
equipment will be made available to speakers. Abstract books
will be distributed on site to all registered delegates. Abstracts will also be published in a Supplement of Journal of Clinical Virology.

Electricity used in France is 220 Volts; its frequency is 50 Hz and the plugs have two male contact points. Plan to bring a transformer for your electrical or electronic equipment using different voltage (ie. USA, Canada).
CLIMATE & CLOTHING
The weather in Paris in July is usually warm and sunny with
daily temperatures ranging from 20°C to 25°C. Night temperatures may be milder between 12°C to 16°C.

Every person entering France should be in possession of a valid passport and/or identification card (except for members of the Euro zone). Some countries require a visa.
